About us.........
We are Guus and Ellen van Tulder, veterinarian and fashion designer / stylist, respectively, with 3 teenagers, 2 Flatcoated retrievers, and of course a bunch of Ocicats residing in Maasbommel, The Netherlands. Maasbommel is a small village on the shore of 'De Gouden Ham', a former meander of the river Meuse and currently a beautiful aquatic leisure region.
After keeping Siamese, Oriental shorthairs and Abessians, some years ago we started keeping and breeding Ocicats. Currently, we are totally committed to this breed with its fabulous ‘wild-look’ and fantastic character and hope through our participation as breeder with veterinary knowledge to contribute to further expansion and improvement of the Ocicat. Optimal balance between (hereditary) health and exterior type is thereby our main objective. In contrast to a common attitude in the cat-fancy world, we are strictly opposed to breeding-restrictions and other impediments which interfere with free exchange of breeding animals.
